Common Questions
How much can I save with a WordPress maintenance retainer?
Retainers offer tremendous savings on content updates and bug fixes. You can save as much as $30 per hour or 20%!
How will a retainer help me get work done faster?
A retainer will allow you to send over your requests and have us start immediately. Instead of going through the proposal process or taking valuable time to quote every task and get your approval, we can go ahead and get to work as soon as we receive your request.
Do I need a Structure WordPress Management Package to purchase a Maintenance Retainer?
You must subscribe to a Structure WordPress Management Package to purchase a Maintenance Retainer. However, a Maintenence Retainer can be added to any WordPress Management Package.
Is there any long-term commitment?
You can pay as you go at our standard hourly rate of $150/hr. However, if you anticipate needing help regularly AND want to save money, you can pay upfront and commit.
On what services can I use my retainer?
The maintenance tasks included in some WordPress Management Pages, such as Content Updates & Bug Fixes, are limited to updating, fixing, and maintaining existing content on the website. It does not apply to the creation of new content on the website.
If you are unsure whether a request meets these criteria, submit it as a ticket to our support system, and we will either accept the ticket and proceed or quote the work as a separate project.
Will my retainer renew automatically?
No, your retainer will not renew automatically. We track and manage your available hours and will alert you if you need additional hours.
What happens if I don’t use my hours?
Make sure to use your hours before they expire! Hours don’t roll over after 12 months, but not to worry—you’ll have an entire year to use your hours.
What’s the difference between WordPress Management and WordPress Maintenance?
Website management and website maintenance have very similar meanings but differ in nature.
Website management is an overseeing service that requires multiple tasks. Website maintenance is the actions you take when you manage a website.
In other words, when you manage your website, you oversee all aspects of its functioning. When you maintain your website, you take specific action to improve its performance.
Therefore Structure WordPress Management Packages include differing levels of overall management and maintenance of your website. On the other hand, Structure WordPress Maintenance Packages do not include management but only maintenance tasks such as content edits and bug fixes.
